Processes of biomineralization, particularly shell formation.  Session to include molluscs, crustaceans, echinoderms.

This day-long session brings together science and the shellfish industry focused on the ways to improve shellfish aquaculture production (e.g., increased yield, increased profit, improved quality, etc.). The session includes a wide range of topics (hatchery to grow-out, different species, etc.), with a common theme of bringing rigorous science to bear upon applied problems.
